The vent shaft upgrade is part of the Cooling the Tube Programme upgrade of the entire mid tunnel ventilation shafts on London Underground.

Certel Engineering Solutions successfully procured the Fitting out of two sets of station platforms for the high speed domestic service. This was a difficult project for Certel as Kings Cross international was a very busy station with lots of public using the station. Stratford international was difficult due to access through the Olympic village.
